Emotional Expression - ART

Sometimes it can be hard to express your emotions with words and in moments like this it can be easier to draw or paint.

You do not have to be "creative" or "good at drawing" to expressing your emotions through ART because the purpose of this exercise is to let the emotion out, rather than create something "pretty".


Take out a few types of ART supples such as: crayons, paint, pens, pencils etc. (whatever you have available) and paper.


Give yourself a moment to notice your emotions, thoughts, bodily sensations. When you are ready allow yourself to simply draw. Experiment with different tools and techniques. Be playful.
